Al-Dhale University Holds the Central Event to Commemorate the Birth of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)

Under the patronage and in the presence of His Excellency the President of Al-Dhale University, Professor Dr. Ali Saeed Al-Tariq, Al-Dhale University held today, Saturday, the central event commemorating the birth of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). The event was attended by the university’s academic and administrative leadership, as well as a number of officials and social and educational figures, in a celebratory atmosphere reflecting the significance of this occasion among the attendees.
The event was attended by Dr. Mohammed Al-Dhaib, Vice President for Student Affairs; Dr. Yahya Al-Fajir, Vice President for Academic Affairs; Professor Moeen Al-Bukhaity, Secretary-General of the University; Dr. Waleed Al-Sabari, Legal Advisor to the University President; Dr. Ammar Al-Nahham, Assistant Vice President for Academic Affairs; and Dr. Mohammed Al-Sharafi, Dean of the College of Administrative Sciences, in addition to vice deans, directors general, and members of the University Student Forum.
Guests of the university included Professor Ibrahim Al-Haifi, Chairman of the General Authority for Insurance and Pensions; Professor Fayed Hammoud, member of the Central Committee for Mobilization and Mobilization at the Ministry of Education and Scientific Research; Sheikh Abdulrahman Al-Wajeeh, Director General of the Grievances Authority Branch in the governorate; Professor Mohsen Sufyan, Director General of the Education Office in the governorate; and Colonel Ibrahim Al-Wushali, the governorate’s security official.
Representing the General Organization for Social Insurance were Professor Mujahid Al-Miqdad, Director General of Branches; Professor Mohammed Hameed, Director General of Administrative Affairs; Professor Fawaz Al-Hubaishi, Advisor to the Chairman of the Organization; and Judge Ziad Al-Sheikh, Deputy Director General of Legal Affairs, along with a number of social and educational figures.
The event began with a recitation of verses from the Holy Qur’an by student Asaad Mu’ayzib, followed by the playing of the national anthem, marking the official start of the celebration program.
Following this, University President Professor Dr. Ali Saeed Al-Tariq delivered a welcoming speech, emphasizing the importance of commemorating the birth of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and drawing lessons and guidance from the noble life of the Messenger, as well as the values of wisdom, patience, courage, struggle, and steadfastness embodied in his life. He noted that these values contribute to strengthening awareness and insight among younger generations.
Dr. Al-Tariq praised the efforts of the university’s academic and administrative staff in organizing religious and cultural activities, stressing that commemorating this occasion reflects the deep connection of the Yemeni people with the Noble Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and their adherence to the values and principles he brought, while instilling these values in future generations.
The University President also called for broad participation in the central event commemorating the Prophet’s birth on the 12th of Rabi’ al-Awwal, in a manner befitting the greatness of the occasion and the revered status of the Noble Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in the hearts of the Yemeni people.
For his part, Judge Ziad Al-Sheikh, Deputy Director General of Legal Affairs at the General Organization for Social Insurance, delivered the guests’ speech. He addressed the significance of commemorating the Prophet’s birth and the importance of expressing joy on this occasion, in a way that strengthens awareness of the Prophetic biography, reinforces the connection with the Messenger of Allah (PBUH), and contributes to correcting misconceptions related to religion and the Prophetic approach.
In his speech marking the occasion, the University President’s Cultural Advisor, Professor Abdullah Ali Al-Moushki (Abu Mustafa), spoke about the greatness of the Prophet’s birth anniversary and the esteemed status of the Noble Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). He highlighted the occasion as a spiritual and cultural opportunity to recall the Prophet’s life, morals, values, and positions, connect generations with the message of Islam and its human and ethical values, and emphasized the importance of transforming the commemoration into practical conduct reflected in society and educational institutions.
The event also featured a number of chanting, artistic, and cultural performances centered on the occasion, presented by the Martyr of the Qur’an School ensemble and Al-Nokhba Private Schools in Damt, in addition to a poem by poet Kaleem Al-Najjar. The performances expressed themes of love and loyalty to the Noble Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and received an enthusiastic response from the attendees.
The event was presented by Professor Mohammed Al-Muhaqni, Director General of Student Activities, and Professor Abdulrahman Al-Omaysi, Director of the Office of the Dean of the College of Humanities and Applied Sciences. They guided the audience through the various segments of the program in a manner that reflected the spirit of the occasion and added a distinctive celebratory atmosphere to the event.
The event concluded with an emphasis on the importance of continuing religious and cultural programs and activities at the university, strengthening awareness of Prophetic values, expressing love and loyalty to the Messenger of Allah (PBUH), and connecting future generations with his noble biography and righteous path.
University President Welcomes the Chairman of the General Authority for Insurance and Pensions
Earlier this morning, His Excellency the University President, Professor Dr. Ali Saeed Al-Tariq, received Professor Ibrahim Al-Haifi, Chairman of the General Authority for Insurance and Pensions, and his accompanying delegation. He welcomed them and praised their presence and participation in the central event commemorating the birth of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
The University President also accompanied the delegation on a tour of the university’s facilities and departments, where they were briefed on the university’s ongoing efforts in academic and administrative development, as well as its student activities.
