Discussion of Graduation Project Plans for Several Groups from the Second Cohort – Medical Laboratory Department
Under the patronage and in the presence of Prof. Dr. Ali Saeed Al-Tariq, President of Al-Dhalea University, the Medical Laboratory Department at Al-Dhalea University held a discussion session on the graduation project plans of several groups of students from the second cohort. The session was part of the university’s scientific and academic activities aimed at enhancing students’ research skills and preparing them to develop outstanding graduation projects.
During the seminar, the student groups presented scientific presentations on their proposed research projects and plans, outlining the topics, objectives, significance, and proposed methodologies for conducting their studies. The presentations were reviewed and discussed by specialists, who provided the necessary scientific feedback and guidance to develop and improve the plans before beginning project implementation.
These discussions are part of the university’s efforts to promote scientific and applied research and develop students’ abilities to select research topics, identify problems, formulate objectives, prepare scientific plans, and present and discuss research ideas. This contributes to linking academic knowledge with practical application in the field of medical laboratory sciences.
The seminars also reflected the level of preparation and efforts made by the students, faculty members, and supervisors, as well as the department’s commitment to providing students with scientific guidance during the early stages of preparing their graduation projects, ultimately leading to higher-quality research projects that are relevant to community needs and the healthcare sector.
The seminar was attended by a number of visiting academic staff from Thamar University, in addition to academic staff from Al-Dhalea University. Their participation contributed to enriching the discussions and providing students with valuable scientific feedback and recommendations.
