Thursday: Saturday, 4 Safar 1446 AH, corresponding to August 8, 2024 AD

Al-Dhali' University held a solidarity rally with Gaza, the land of steadfastness and sacrifice, under the slogan "In Loyalty to the Blood of the Martyrs." During the rally, which was attended by His Excellency the University President, Professor Ali Al-Tariq, and a number of university staff and students, participants raised the Yemeni and Palestinian flags and chanted slogans condemning the brutal aggression and the assassination of Islamic resistance leaders. They affirmed the university's support, with its staff, faculty, and students, for the causes of our Arab and Islamic nation, and in particular for the barbaric and brutal aggression against the people of Gaza.

They emphasized that the Yemeni people will continue to support Palestine by all means until victory, God willing, no matter the sacrifices.

In the concluding statement, read by Professor Mohammed Al-Mahqani, Director General of Human Resources, the university leadership and its members affirmed their continued support for the Palestinian cause through all cultural and religious activities in solidarity with our brothers in steadfast Gaza.

The statement also condemned the assassination of the martyred leader Ismail Haniyeh as a stain on the occupation's conscience.

The statement further praised the selection of the heroic leader Yahya Sinwar as head of the Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, succeeding the martyred leader Ismail Haniyeh. This, the statement declared, is a clear message to the Zionist aggression: there will be no negotiations, only a war that will consume you. You assassinated those who negotiated, and we have brought you those who will fight. The statement called upon the axis of resistance to respond to the Israeli occupation entity, expressing support for every step taken by the valiant Yemeni army and missile forces to deter the usurping Zionist occupation entity.
