Al-Dhalea University organized a ceremony to commemorate the Prophet Muhammad’s Birthday, launch student activities for the 2026–2027 academic year, and welcome newly admitted students, under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Ali Saeed Al-Tariq, President of Al-Dhalea University.
In his opening speech, Prof. Dr. Al-Tariq welcomed the new students and emphasized the importance of drawin inspiration from the Prophet Muhammad’s life and values, while strengthening students’ faith, character, talents, and abilities through meaningful university activities.
The university’s Vice President, Dr. Mohammed Al-Dheeb, highlighted the importance of commitment to universit regulations, academic discipline, and active participation in student life. The Secretary-General, Mr. Moeen Al-Bukhaity, stressed the importance of cooperation among academic, administrative, and student bodies in creating an environment that combines academic excellence with meaningful extracurricular activities.The ceremony also featured a poetry performance by Hamdi Al-Hajaji in celebration of the occasion.
As part of the launch, the Director General of Student Activities, Mr. Mohammed Al-Muhaqni, presented th university’s program of cultural, scientific, artistic, and sports activities, including Qur’an recitation, public speaking, poetry, drawing, writing, translation, and other competitions aimed at discovering and developing students’ talents.
The event was attended by university leadership, academic and administrative staff, and students. The ceremon concluded with an emphasis on continuing student activities throughout the academic year and providing students with greater opportunities for creativity, excellence, and personal development.
